As Fall/Winter fashion week approaches, Pre-fall is in full spring and this year, it's bigger than ever. Designers are taking advantage of this "in-between" season with bigger previews of their collections. For example, this is Alexander Wang's biggest Pre-Fall collection. Alexander Wang states, "We're bulking up pre-fall so that buyers come in [and see] a big part of what we have to offer as a brand, and then come in to Fall to focus on the [runway]." His strategy sounds promising, even though I'm sure that buyers would always flock to his shows.
With the Pre-Fall 2011 collection, Wang brings back his much loved biker vests and light washed denim. I'm excited for Alexander Wang's 2011 fall/winter collection; I can't wait to see what else he has under his sleeve.
