Pre-Fall 2011: Louis Vuitton

Pictures of Marc Jacob's collection for Louis Vuitton were finally released yesterday on WWD.  As you can see from the above image, he's pulling a lot of inspiration from the roaring 20's and 1930's (Two of my favorite fashion decades by the way) with loose fitting drop waisted dresses and fur stoles.  The make up was film-noir-esque with deep red lips and a dramatic bronze eye shadow over  pale faces.

I personally love the collection, especially the striped signature bag in the photo above.  I cannot wait to see LV's Fall 2011 show.  Oh, and keep a look out for later on today; I will be posting the dates for New York and Paris Fashion week for Fall 2011.
